if you spend your saturday nights watching tv (like me) you know who tiina faye is.

She was later added to the cast of SNL in 2000. After leaving SNL in 2006, Fey created her own television series called 30 Rock. so, along side Amy Poeler, they made a skit.  Faye as Palin and Poeler as Hilary Clinton.

it wasn't really that funny (maybe for me coz i didn't know anything that they were talking about) but Tina Faye really looked like Sarah Palin on that skit.  it was actually a special skit since Tina Faye has left SNL in 2006. (to be on 30 Rock along side Alec Baldwin)

i was checking out the cds in my cd box...

when i found the video i made for the class

last year as a graduation gift for everybody.

it made me teary eyed and all mushy inside.

all those memories...the laughter...the crying..

the sleepless nights(consecutive days for me),

all the expenses...the projects...the home works..

the tambays...the random inuman..and the friendship.

i dunno..i don't get to talk to them anymore...

but it's going to be a year soon..since we left the 

walls of ISCAHM...and i miss them...ssooo much!!

especially my VI_PEEPS ...

they were my family for that 14 months. like any family..

we had our ups and downs, some disagreements,

and stuff that tore us apart...but in the end...

the people who are "steady"...got it together.

and that's all that really matters.  

it's just sad that everybody's really busy or out of the 

country.  we haven't ALL seen each other since after

the graduation party.

i just want to let you guys know how much i miss you.

and i hope that i will get to see you soon.

anyway...i've been so stressed about this lunch am fixing up

for my lola's(aunt of my dad) majong lunch/carmen's bday lunch

on tuesday.

my lola wants me to cook a BONGGACIOUS lunch for her

and her amigas.(mala aubergine daw). mahirap to think

of a menu pag madaming hadlang.

one of her amigas is bringing paella mejo mahirap siya

i partner dun sa dish that my mom wants me to cook.

hindi siya bagay.

eto pa..i dont know if its buffet style or ala carte..

plus its carmen's bday..i want to make a special treat for her

din naman..

so am whipping up something special for desert (i wont say kasi she

might read this blog).

i've got 3 days to fix this up..well actually buying the ingredients

nalang problema..i basically have an idea 

of what i'll do.

i just have to coordinate some stuff with my mom

then write my MEP and am on my way..hectic monday and tuesday

for me!

Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro's home turf! this will be a very interesting race since Felipe Massa is on the 3rd row (6th) and Kimi Raikkonen is starting the race from 14th place. its still nice since the faggot vodafone mclaren mercedes driver lewis hamilton (ron dennis' lover) will start in 15th place. they are racing under extremely difficult conditions.

they kept the opening theme!!!:)
something that got me really excited.
i just finished watching the first 2 episodes of the new 90210 series.
its a bit different from the days when Kelly, Donna, Brenda, Brandon, David, Steve and Andrea walked the halls of West Beverly High.
it still tackles the same teenage issues, but in a more "mature" way.

i also love the fact that they kept Nat and the Peach Pit. the first episode shows him making a cappuccino on an espresso machine. i read somewhere that the Peach Pit will be their hangout spot!:)

the role of the "DAD" or in this case Principal Harry Wilson will be played by Rob Estes. he's a familiar face coz he played Kyle Mcbride on Melrose Place(also created by Aaron Spelling). that show was somewhat connected to Beverly Hills 90210 (since we were able to see Kelly and Dylan in some episodes).

another thing that blew my mind is how they incorporated Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth) to the whole story. she's now the guidance counselor at West Beverly High and her half sister(c/o Mel Silver, David's dad) Erin Silver goes to west bev as well.

am loving the new 90210 so far..i just can't wait to see how they'll throw Brenda in.
hopefully the other old cast members will consider doing a cameo for the show.

i wasn't be taken back to 18 years ago when the whole phenomenon started (sure it was SORTA the same opening) but it was a whole new place.

hope you'll enjoy it as much as i did!;)

i've been "stranded" in this house for quite some time now.
it sucks big time, but ive sorta learned how to deal with it..
i just don't mind it that much.

so i've been watching alot of reruns of mythbusters and the nanny.
those fill the blank moments of my busy schedule here at home.
but now..i think i'll be busier than ever.

my favorite series are back (if you know me..you know how much i love these)
Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill are back since yesterday. its another exciting season for the upper east siders and the tree hill gang.
chef Gordon Ramsey will cause hell again on Kitchen Nightmares starting September 11.
My favorite geeks and gal will make you laugh again with the Big Bang Theory starting September 22.
beggining SEPTEMBER 16, my favorite doctor Gregory House will open his services once again on House MD. his diagnosis will be tested again (no matter how crazy it would be).
and on October 9, will Grissom be back? find out on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation on that date.
and something from the 90s is back. WEST BEVERLY HIGH will be a household name yet again.Brenda and Kelly are back but we wont get to see dilan, brandon, donna or steve (for now), a brand new gang will spice up our favorite zip code 90210 (starting today september 2).

we more or less share our moments with our pillows.
some of us even had our pillows since they were born.
we drool on them, cry on them, sweat or whatever bodily fluids
on them...we throw them out of anger..we squeeze them
for different reasons. we cuddle them on nights we dont have
anybody to cuddle with...

missing my old place

it's almost 6 am..
and i'm still very much awake.
aside from my java moments last night,
i started browsing through the pictures in my multiply.
then i saw pics of our old house, my old room,
the parties i had there, my billiard table, my bottle collection,
and so many other things....

it made me home-sick. yes you got it right...i said home-sick.
i don't really feel like this place we're staying now is our home.
that house in sikatuna...that was a home. well...this one..
its just a place we stay in.

there are days that i still hope that this is all just a dream...
and i'll be waking up to my old room. conveniently lighting up
a cigarette in my majestic bathroom then my usual morning
routine. walking down the stairs..seeing aling ne, mopping
the floor and heading to the kitchen to find something
to munch on, while watching tv in our sala within the kitchen!:(

well..maybe its really hard to part with 20 years....
i'll hold all those memories in my heart...
fuck this crap!!!i love my old house!!!
i hope we find something like that soon!!!!!

Busy Bee

Pasensya na sila pero masyado kang maraming inaasikaso tulad ng libro, bolpen, papel at calculator. Umaalis ka ng 6 am sa bahay at umuuwi ng 7 ng gabi 'pag weekdays. Pagdating mo sa bahay, gagawa lang ng homework at matutulog na. Masaya ka nang makanood ng TV 'pag Sabado (at gumawa ulit ng homework). 'Eto naman 'yung mga laging idinadahilan na masyado pa silang bata o kaya masyado na silang matanda. May mga tao raw na ganyan, 'yung pakiramdam nila laging may tamang panahon para sa pag-ibig. Pero ang labo lang kasi tuwing may pagkakataon naman, lagi nilang naiisip na maling panahon pa iyon. Oo, wrong timing lagi ang pag-ibig para sa kanila kasi madalas sumasakto kung kelan meron silang board exams, problema sa pamilya, o long test kinabukasan. :))

Ayaw ni mama o ni papa na magkaboypren/girlpren ang kanilang unica hija/hijo kahit na 22 years old na ito at kumikita na ng sarili niyang pera. Kailangan daw magkaron ka muna ng isang strand ng puting buhok bago may makadalaw sa'yo sa bahay. O kaya, baka ikaw 'yung may problema dahil natatakot ka sa iisipin ng mga magulang mo tungkol sa taong iyong gusto. Baka kasi sabihin nila na masyado siyang bansot/ matangkad/ baboy/ payatot para sa'yo.

Trauma

Dahil sa dami ng mga heartbreak na iyong nadama at emo songs na napakinggan mo na noon, sinumpa mo nang hindi ka magmamahal. Ayaw mo na. Yikeeee. Mahal pa rin niya ang kanyang ex at hindi siya maka-get-over the person. Boo. Pilit pa ring inaalala ang mga tawanan, iyakan, at PDA moments nilang dalawa kahit 'yung ex niya ay nakikipag-(insert verb here) na sa ibang babae/lalaki. Sasabihin mong nakapag-move on ka na pero pag nagkwentuhan tungkol sa pag-ibig, tandadadaaaaan! Siya na naman naiisip mo.

Ayaw

Dalawa na namang kaso ito. Una, ayaw mo lang talaga magka-"someone". Hindi ko na pipilitin ungkatin 'yung dahilan pero may mga pagkakataon lang talaga na ayaw mo. Ikalawa naman, baka...ayaw kasi sa'yo nung gusto mo. And that's the shizzest thing ever! Pwedeng ayaw niya sa'yo dahil may girlpren/boypren siya, busy siya or whatever, o kaya ayaw ka lang niya talaga at wala ka nang magagawa kung ganun. :(

i havent really slept...
i was up till around 8 in the morning looking for some of my favorite movies.
i've looked everywhere online..but could not seem to find a copy of it.
my trusty www.watch-movies.net doesn't have it. even youtube, veoh, stage6,wherever!!!!

july 11

it's almost been 10 years(this december) since one of my bestest friends
joined our creator.
i haven't really gotten over it, although he sorta told me already that its all good.

he was my kuya(since i didn't have any), he treated me like his little sister.
i used to bug him at wee hours of the morning, for the craziest problems.
he would gladly wake up and would give me the same line...
"lalake lang yan!" lol.
he "hyped" my love for the archers!yes..siya ang pasimuno!lol
my kuya was my first "online game" buddy..we would play nba live online.
although he beats me everytime, and that i suck at it..we still play.
he was my first textmate too!!hahah!:)) he got to know some of
my friends...well had a thing with one of them!hahaha!:)

i miss him so much.
there are days that i still talk to him and confide
about my silliest problems.
and i know he's still giving me the same line and that
smirk.
he would have a kick out of friendster..i bet!lol

the big bang theory--spoiler

i was channel surfing the other day and i saw this one commercial on jacktv (i think) about this show called "the big bang theory". i wasn't minding it at first, but i was bored out of my wits last night and started thinking on what to watch. my favorite shows are on season break and will not be back till september, so i have to start watching something new (or i'll probably go nuts!!) so i decided to check out the big bang theory..and first few moments made me laugh so hard that my brother and sister woke up.

it's about this roommates sheldon and leonard. they are both scientists who works at the university. across the hall lived a beautiful blonde girl penny who worked at the cheesecake factory. well..this is a sitcom version of "the beauty and the geek".

there are some words here that you only hear in national geographic, discovery channel or your physics teacher/professor, but the delivery of the lines make you feel like you KNOW what those words mean.

the show stars Johnny Galecki who plays Leonard who is in love with Penny played by Kaley Cuoco (8 Simple Rules) and his roommate Sheldon played by Jim Parsons. this trio is spiced up by the addition of Simon Helberg who portrays the "sex driven klingon-y" Howard Wolowitz and "that indian guy who can't talk to beautiful women" Rajesh Koothrappali played by Kunal Nayyar. this ensamble makes the story lines interesting and a bit realistic. (i could only imagine)

it's such a nice show and every episode is really interesting. it makes you wonder if Leonard and Penny would ever hook up. if sheldon would ever stop being a neat freak, stop speaking in tounges and would ever understand a sarcasm.

so..no matter if you're an avarage joe, a braniac or legally blonde , you'll really enjoy this show.
